Fiber End-Cap
Neptec’s High Power Fiber End-Cap is designed for output termination of fiber lasers and fiber amplifiers to reduce power density at the fiber facet. Neptec’s unique design features a cladding light stripper is built inside in order to remove the reflection power in the fiber inner cladding. Without a high-power fiber end-cap, high optical power can easily damage the optical fiber.
As with all of Neptec’s products, Neptec’s Fiber End-Cap can be custom designed and manufactured for any specific application. If the standard Fiber End-Cap below does not fit your application, we would be glad to review your specifications and quote a custom one for you.
